| A passionate performer of contemporary music Mary Elizabeth Mackenzie appears regularly with several chamber music groups in New York City. Notable erformances include Barraqué's Chant Aprés Chant with the Juilliard Percussion Ensemble at Alice Tully Hall, Héctor Parra's Hypermusic: Ascension at the Guggenheim Museum, and Boulez's Improvisations No. 1&2 sur Mallarmé for the composer's 85th birthday celebration at the Miller Theatre. Ms. Mackenzie made her professional opera debut as Despina in Così fan tutte with Madison Opera. |
